Stefan-Fillipe de Beer

After a successful career as a racecar designer I returned to my early love for art and architecture. I started education at the Academy of the Arts, after two years I switched to car design at TU Delft. After twelve years as a car designer I sold my business and returned to the Academy to study Spatial Art and Architecture. Since 2007 I focus completely on both art and architecture.

My work originates from a fascination for technology and machines and their impact on society and our lives. I use the leftovers and waste of the mass produced materials and products that make our modern lives possible.

All my works are interconnected by recycling parts of earlier works into my new works. It’s like going back by time machine, altering and adjusting things, going forward to the present and see what the new outcome is and if it fits the situation of that moment better.
