I am a fine artist, living and working in rural Hampshire. I attained my BA Hons Fine Art as a mature student at University for the Creative Arts Farnham. As well as exhibiting, I teach in the local community.
I am fascinated with structural theory and the way identity is constructed from surrounding elements – this theoretical thread underpins all of my work, which evolves and changes with each new challenge.

Thoughts on the Telephone process
I absolutely loved this project! Initially, when I received my ‘message’ (a beautiful piece of dance) I felt quite daunted and did not know quite how to process what I was seeing, dance not being part of my creative practice. So after watching the piece many many times, I began to decipher visual cues that gave me a way in to formulate my own understanding of a message, which became the basis for my own work. I feel that the challenge of interpreting a piece of work from another discipline has been an exciting and invaluable challenge, which has facilitated the beginning of an extraordinary creative process. I would definitely recommend this project to other artists and would love to participate again if the opportunity arose. Thank you Satellite Collective for letting me play!
