I am a Sheffield-based artist, currently undertaking a Mart fine art degree. My practice is driven by the question what is reality? It is through distorted adaptions of the perceived reality, communicated through layers based on a factual narrative, in which I question and contemplate the concept of reality. I use a range of media in my work depending on the individual piece at the time.

Thoughts on the Telephone process

The translation of another artist's translation was very fun and interesting way of making a piece of work as all you have to go off is the other artist's interpretation of an idea. When listening to the sound piece I was to respond to, I felt an overwhelming feeling of being lost in a new place. Like walking down an unfamiliar street. This is the aspect of the previous that I chose to use in my response.
