Thoughts about the Telephone process

this project was fun. i wasn't sure what to do at first and i waited to be inspired. i went through two revisions of the same piece and i started running out of time, finished up and submitted. i tried to think about the work submitted to the artist of the work i followed, i tried to think about what they were thinking and what the imagery might have meant to them - unknowing of the artist or source material. this sort of work is difficult for me to be satisfied with because i like to make art for myself and not necessarily for anyone else. there is always an equal amount of embarrassment and pride for me when i show work- that sweet manipulative confidence in doubt.
