Sentinel is an image based on an interpretation of string theory, quantum mechanics and particle physics, illustrating that we are all made of the same elements albeit in different atomical constructs through connections that span the observable and unobservable universe.

The images are short exposure shots of chemical reactions of various commonly found substances such as ink pigments, dust and organic matter within a drop of water exploring the concept of potential energy of a ‘cell’ and to symbolise the fact.
