Kathryn Drury was born in Los Angeles California and has lived and worked in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York. She received her BFA from the S.U.N.Y. New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, and MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has taught at the City of Manhattan Beach Cultural Art Center in Manhattan Beach, CA, Hyde Park Art Center in Chicago, IL, and the Pendleton Art Center in Cincinnati, OH in painting, design, and sculpture. She has also worked as an assistant teacher at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Chicago, IL teaching freshman foundation and print-media courses.

Kathryn has exhibited work in galleries and museums internationally, and has work in both public and private collections in the U.S. and abroad. Her studio practice incorporates a variety of media including printmaking, drawing, video, painting, performance, sculpture, and curatorial projects.
